This month’s main article is about Red and Green quilts. This is a funny coincidence since I had just picked up a copy of the book “The Circuit Rider’s Quilt” when I was at Grandma’s Attic for Quilt Club this month.
The grandma Gazette has an interesting article about Thanksgiving, interesting facts from an American life in 1923, a recipe for pumpkin chocolate dessert cake, history of the cornucopia, and more.
There is also a pattern for the Blessings Star Pillow,
a teaser picture for the Crystal kaleidoscope block of the month (BOM) quilt,
the snips and snails BOM quilt,
and Basket Beauties BOM quilt.
This last one is a huge temptation as it is applique. I am a sucker for applique. (oh, and I already have the blocks for the other two quilts)
