Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt Update #18 – Final Border

Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt

Final Border

The final border for Nancy Page’s Grandmother’s Flower Garden Quilt was a simple 10 inch white border. This made the quilt large enough for a king sized bed with a nice “fall”.

One 10 inch strip was sewn to each side of the quilt. Then the upper and lower borders were attached.

This completed the quilt top for now. The actual quilting is going to have to wait until the second story on the garage is finished. Once it is finished there will be enough room to set up the long arm machine and quilting frame.
