On a regular ‘ol weekend I would have slept in. Our teaching season has begun, there will not be much sleeping in until next Winter break. Without these early morning wake up calls, I would miss the unexpected and fleeting beauty of days like this.
I am doubly thankful that I was able to get a picture. Most often moments of beauty will touch me while I am teaching at a time when I am unable to whip out my phone and snap a pic. I am supposed to be teaching after all. 😉
