I have been continuing to work on the “yellow” vintage layette.  To me the yarn looked like a very soft yellow in the store.

I have been told that the yarn looks quite a bit more yellow in the pictures on this blog too.  However, when I looked at the label on the yarn, the color is listed as “antique white”.   :-/  The sweater is all still in pieces, waiting to be sewn together.  The little hat is mostly finished,

except for the neck band.  I need to pick up stitches along the bottom edge and keep forgetting to put a crochet hook in my bag.  Today I finished one of the little “booties”.

Um… it’s shaped weird.  I will leave it for a bit and then re-read the instructions again (3 times so far and can’t find where I might have deviated from the written instructions).
