A baby shower took up most of my free time. I made two soft books for Baby#3 and stumbled upon Kewpie fabric, reminding me of a doll left at my house. I handcrafted the books with care, using cotton batting, seams graded to reduce bulk, and top stitching for durability. I was delighted with the results.
12 Days of Christmas Quilt ~ Finished
In 2008, the 12 blocks for a Christmas embroidery project were started and completed in 2009. Years later, attempts to quilt the project faced unexpected challenges. After numerous setbacks and interruptions from other projects, including hand-quilting and fixing bunched corners, the quilt was finally completed in 2020, including the addition of a quilt label.
