The author shared experiences of mending clothes and household items. Flannel PJs and a linen wrap dress were altered for size and repaired. The author found sentimental value in a dress and fixed tears and a loose snap. Clothing repairs were also attempted using techniques seen on YouTube. A wind chime and an umbrella were fixed too.

The black cardigan sweater is a versatile favorite despite a small hole. The Lemon dress faced minor adjustments, delayed by a feline interloper. A creative fix rescued a malfunctioning umbrella strap. A vintage sleeping gown doubled as a full slip, with lace adjustments made on the go. A thrift shop find led to a successful ball winder repair, and a cherished wind chime was lovingly restored.

The writer had neglected mending and ironing due to the holiday rush, but is now back to it. They repaired dog toys, a coat, and a favorite blanket, and fixed a decorative nutcracker. They also obtained a Singer sewing table and successfully installed a new belt for their sewing machine, making it work better than ever.
