Crochet Pink Dress:
After last week’s progress I was super positive that today would be all about how this project was finished or nearly so.
Sigh… no such luck. Heat, smoke, running, gym, health issues, & Barbies all having distracted me.
No, I have not been watching the Barbie movie non- stop. I do hope to see it, I’ve always been a fan of Barbie. She has always been able to have whatever job she wants to. I’ve been figuring the ins & outs of selling Barbies on eBay. Friend Colleen cleaned out her momma’s house, getting it ready to sell. I’m working on selling the remaining dolls. Needless to say, I am on the bottom of the learning curve. 😉
Anyways… back to what little progress that I made this last week.
The sleeves are still the flat pieces they were last week.
The front and back pieces have been attached at the shoulders. Usually I would sew them together using the mattress stitch. This time I decided to crochet these seams together, like commercial sweaters are made. I think I like the results so far.
The stack of flowers are still awaiting their turn.
