It featured historical techniques like interior waistband construction, proper seam allowances, and new closures. Adjustments included boning and topstitching for stability. The project successfully utilized existing materials and culminated in a satisfactory outcome.

Possibly Gross – Laundry

The writer hand washed their delicate items and socks, noticing the washer left them grey. Using a lingerie washing board, they scrubbed the items and were pleased with the results. They believed the dinginess in the water came from the washer. They concluded by stating the rinse water came out clear, deciding not to use the washer for such items.

My new Christmas Scarf

The holiday season is here, with catalogs flooding in. Despite normally using them for fires, a scarf with a festive print and tiny bells caught my eye. It arrived before Thanksgiving, and I immediately wore it after the holiday. Pleasantly surprised by its 90% wool and 10% cashmere composition, I happily fixed the few missing bells and plan to wear it for many holiday outings.
