I have been working on this and that. Mostly embroidery work for the “Flowers of the Month Embroidery Club” through Grandma’s Attic Sewing Emporium. Last month I picked up the finishing kit. Apparently this was the push I needed to actually get the quilt blocks done. Since we chatted, last week, I have finished two more quilt blocks and started a third. I had lots of time to work on blocks while on our Memorial Day trip (but more on that later).

March

I started this quilt block, in March, while visiting my brother and his family in North Carolina. I finished it this last past Friday. It still has the transfer-eze on it. I hope to get it soaked off and the block ironed tonight.
July

I couldn’t tell you when I started this block. It has been partially done for… a long time. This is the block that I took with me on the Memorial Day trip. I managed to get it finished. Yes, the transfer-eze is still on this block too. I hope to show you the pretty blocks next week alongside these pictures to show the difference.
October

This is my most recently started quilt block. I am hoping to have much progress to share with you in next week’s post.

And, last but not least, I managed to finish a pieced quilt block as well.
Not too bad for a week, especially considering how little I was actually home.
What have you been up to, dear readers? I would love to hear all about it! How was your Memorial Day holiday?
