Mermaids

These little lovelies are all done! I love how cute they turned out. I did NOT enjoy working with this yarn. Once I finished these doll-babies, I gave the rest of the yarn to my friend DC. <3

Quilt Borders

The new borders have been quilted and added. All the worn out fabric on the pieced blocks have had new fabric appliqued over them. I can check this long-term project off my To-Do list. ๐Ÿ™‚ I really love having it finally back on the bed.

Reusable Produce Bags

This is a new project… sorta. I have already made two produce bags using two different patterns. I think that I like the look of this pattern better. We will have to see. I am still not strong in my crochet skills.

Spinning

I have been working on spinning this fiber, off & on, for awhile now. This is actually the second time that I have purchased this fiber, Targhee, in this colorway, Dragons Breath. It pleases me so much! I am really looking forward to see how it looks when plied together.

Hidden U.F.O.s

Shameful admission time: I have MANY UFO projects. If they have been neatly stowed away, they are classified as “Out-of-sight-Out-of-mind”. This tower is one of my clever storage solutions. In this tower, each box/drawer contains partially completed quilt-tops. It is a nice way to store them, because the pattern(s), instructions, blocks, backings, & bindings can all be stored in one contained location. The problem with it is that once all the things are stowed in once location it is easy to over look a partially complete project. Thus allowing me to start another new project. I am frustrated with myself and don’t want to continue on in this manner. Expect to see some progress in getting things completed. Also expect to see more admissions of other “storage solutions”.
